Skincare brand Kiehl’s came to us to develop a social campaign around the release of a tinted line for their Butterstick Lip Treatment. This release was their first true entry into the beauty space, and they wanted a way to showcase the product’s benefits and its color options on lips while staying true to the brand’s personality: quirky, honest, non-sensual, un-gendered.

 

 

#ButterUp

Our campaign #ButterUp showcased the Butterstick Lip Treatment with a series of short videos, each one featuring someone’s lips up close, in slo mo as she (or he!) performed a natural and fun-to-watch action – from blowing bubble gum to accepting kisses from a dog to applying Butterstick.
